All of the first three major parts of the Mass Effect series have been credited with sales success as well as widespread acclaim.
The third and final version of the trilogy focuses on the final battle against Reaper. The second game takes place two years later and shows Shepard fighting Collector, an alien race that kidnaps the entire human colony in a plan to help Reaper return to the Milky Way. The first game to see Shepard faced Sovereign, a pioneering Reaper, who planned to allow the current Reaper fleet to hibernate in a dark space to invade the Milky Way and destroy all living life, continuing a mysterious cycle of destruction. The first trilogy of games centered around a character created by the player called Commander Shepard and the mission to save the galaxy from a mechanical race called the Reaper, and his subordinates, including Saren Arterius. “Mass Effect Trilogy” is a special boxed set containing games belonging to the hit series of the same name including: “Mass Effect”, “Mass Effect 2” and “Mass Effect 3”.
